Safi

SAFI beim WD*42 Festival 2025 in Bremen

Safi is loud. Intense. A raw, uncomfortable, yet magical state of emergency. Safi’s words, sharp-edged and clear, are shards of reality hurled into sonic structures. “The moment that gets stuck between your nerves.” Her lyrics and the raw, unyielding quality of her voice define Safi’s keen perspective on things—political, dark, real. Song structures blaze new trails and morph into walls of sound created by the three-piece band, consisting of two guitars, drums, and electronics. Genres are shattered and expanded—from post-punk and no wave to avant-garde—in their latest work, “Groteske.” “Phew.” (Alexander Hacke, Einstürzende Neubauten)

Baby Of The Bunch

Baby of the Bunch beim WD*42 festival 2025 in Bremen

For more than 9 years, Baby Of The Bunch has been leaving a trail of glitter, beer, and catchy tunes in clubs and at festivals across Germany. With a rousing mix of pop, new wave, rock, and indie, the four members create a sound that’s just as colorful and versatile as their stage outfits. The band combines catchy lyrics, powerful guitar riffs, driving beats, and electronic synth sounds into a distinctive mix that encourages both dancing and singing along.

Stripes Called Zebra

Stripes Called Zebra is a modern jazz band from Bremen. The five female musicians explore a wide variety of genres and draw their musical inspiration from hip-hop, jazz, and fusion, combining their music with rap and vocals. Their compositions transport the audience to a variety of places and moods—the stories they tell are socially critical and deal with the feminist struggle for self-determination, as well as intimate moments of inner turmoil and personal experiences of loss.
